Like freebies? Target is starting a loyalty program

NBC News — Minnesota-based Target is launching a loyalty program.

The “Target Circle” program will offer perks like birthday rewards and personalized coupons.

The retail chain started testing the program in February and it has seen success. In fact, customers enrolled in it spent more at Target than those who are not.

The program is free and you don’t have to have a Target credit card. It rolls out across the country on October 6.
