Chatfield “Chain Gang” almost 40 years strong

CHATFIELD, Minn. (KTTC) – Football season is coming to a close, state tournament play is underway, but it’s time to take a look at an unheralded group of individuals on the field.

The Chatfield “Chain Gang” has been going strong for almost 40 years, seeing all there is to see from the sidelines of the Chatfield Gophers home games.

Matt Opat, Tony Lammers, Tim Danielson, and Jerry Spelhaug make up the Chatfield “Chain Gang” and they say it’s been some of the most fun years of their lives.

Moving the chains for several Chatfield State Championship teams, staying together through all the years and creating a line of people waiting to be able to be apart of the “Chain Gang.”
