Matthew Hurt Visits Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kansas (KTTC) – John Marshall 5-star recruit Matthew Hurt visited the Kansas Jayhawks today, the fourth elite program the Class of 2019’s No. 7 recruit has visited.

Kansas Head coach Bill Self was Hurt’s coach for Team USA this past summer at the FIBA Americas Games where Team USA won gold with Hurt averaging 15 points and 4 rebounds per game.

Hurt has already visited Kentucky, Duke, and North Carolina. Tarheels Head Coach Roy Williams made an in-home visit to hurt last Saturday.

The 6-9 swingman scored 41 points against Winona last night, and also grabbed 19 rebounds.

He leads the state in scoring at 36.1 points per game.
