Spring Creek MX Track Takes Shape Despite the Rain

MILLVILLE, Minn. (KTTC) – Despite the record-setting rainfall in our region, the Spring Creek Moto Park track is in great shape heading into Saturday’s 250 and 450 races.

Course workers have been working tirelessly to ensure the riders and fans alike have a track suitable for race day.

“This is one of the most unique challenges, the non-stop rain that we’ve had all week. There’s only so many times you can push the dirt back and forth and get it to dry out because then rains again,” said Shane Schaefer, who’s in charge of getting the track ready for race day. “We’ve worked long hours and continue to work as many hours as we can just to make this place beautiful for Saturday.”
