PHOENIX (AP) — Kwamie Lassiter, the former Arizona safety who had four interceptions in the Cardinals’ season-ending victory that clinched a playoff berth in 1998, has died. He was 49. The Cardinals announced Lassiter’s death without providing details. Arizona Sports, the website of the team’s flagship radio station, said Lassiter had a heart attack while working out.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Sophie Cunningham scored 20 points and Haley Troup added a career-high 16 points as Missouri edged No. 10 Tennessee 66-64 for its fifth consecutive victory. Tennessee’s Rennia Davis missed a jumper that would have put the Lady Volunteers (12-2, 1-1 SEC) ahead with less than five seconds left and then missed a hurried shot at the buzzer.
