Athlete of the Week – Noah King, Caledonia Football

This week’s Athlete of the Week faced a mountain of expectations before he ever started a high school game, but he’s lived up to the hype (and then some) as the signal-caller for the Caledonia Warriors.

He’ll play college basketball next year at South Dakota State, but right now he’s focused on winning another Prep Bowl Title.

Last week, he started the state playoffs with 7 first half touchdowns against Pipestone Area.

Athlete of the Week – Kaitlyn Prondzinski, Stewartville Volleyball

This week’s Athlete of the Week racked up 26 kills in the Section 1AA Semifinals against Lake City, then followed up that performance with 14 kills and 21 digs against fourth-ranked Kasson-Mantorville to send her Stewartville Tigers to state for the first time since 2015.

Next year, she’ll play volleyball at Div. 1 Illinois state, but right now she’s focused on bringing a state title back to Stew-town.
