ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – It’s an effort to replenish food banks across the region. During the month of February, Hy-Vee stores are participating in a “Feed the Need” campaign.

A Hy-Vee spokesperson said in a statement, “We have recently become aware of a major crisis that our local food banks across our eight-state region are facing. Many are extremely low on food due to an influx of additional people this month needing assistance on top of food banks notoriously having lower donations in February than any other time of year.”

Hy-Vee is asking customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar in support of local food banks.

Hy-Vee will match all donations up to $100 thousand.
