Sunny skies made a grand return to the Midwest today, making for a very pleasant wrap to the weekend. A few clouds will move back into the region tonight, anticipate partly cloudy skies with overnight lows in the lower teens. Areas of fog may be possible late tonight into Monday morning. Given how cold temperatures may get, freezing fog isn’t out of the question, so use extra caution on roadways as they could become slippery should freezing fog develop.
Areas of patchy fog linger into Monday morning, which may make for a slower morning commute. Partly sunny skies prevail for the afternoon with highs in the mid 20s. Expect another pleasant day on Tuesday with temperatures in the upper 20s.
The warming trend continues into Wednesday with afternoon highs in the lower 30s. Wednesday could also see a chance for light snow and freezing drizzle. Not too confident as to where that dividing line with end up, so stay tuned for further updates. Clouds remain for Thursday with highs in the lower 30.
Friday and Saturday will see partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s. A slight chance for flurries moves in Sunday.
