Cold and blustery this weekend

Quite a change in temperatures from yesterday afternoon to today. Many locations have seen a 20-30 degree swing in the past 24 hours, thanks to the passing of a strong cold front. Tonight, conditions will be blustery and cold with overnight lows in the upper 20s. Winds will be out of the south between 10-15 mph with gusts near 30 mph. A freeze warning will be in effect overnight until 9am Saturday. This will likely be the end of the growing season for our area, so make sure to move any plant indoors that you want to save.

Conditions remain cold and blustery through Saturday with highs near 40 degrees. The midday through the late evening could see a chance for rain/snow shower mix. Winds will be blustery out of the southwest at 15-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph. Conditions dry out for Sunday but remain cloudy. Afternoon highs will be in the lower 40s with breezy winds.

Monday starts the work week on a cool but sunny note with partly sunny skies and highs near 50 degrees. Temperatures remain in the upper 40s for Tuesday with a slight chance for rain showers. By Wednesday, we look to see an extended break in the precipitation with partly sunny skies that last into Friday and high temperatures in the mid to upper 50s.
