Cloudy skies will stick around for the first half of the day on Wednesday. Highs will be in the upper 40s and maybe some lower 50s in northern Iowa. Winds will be somewhat light of the northwest around 5-10 mph. Skies begin to clear late Wednesday into early Thursday morning. Overnight lows Wednesday will drop near freezing and frost could be possible early Thursday morning.
Temperatures will rebound Thursday afternoon though! Highs will be in the middle and upper 50s with mostly sunny skies. Winds will shift to the south around 5-10 mph. Overall, Thursday might be our best day of the week weatherwise.
A warming trend will continue for the weekend with highs warming into the lower 60s by Friday. The 60-degree weather will stick around through the weekend with 60s expected on both Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances are still in the forecast late Friday night, Saturday night, and through Sunday afternoon.
Enjoy the warmer weather for the weekend!
